...QUICK MOVING STORM SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE REGION THROUGH EARLY
THIS EVENING...

.A STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO TRANSLATE ACROSS THE FOUR CORNERS
AND SOUTHERN ROCKIES TODAY AND BRING SOME HEAVIER SNOW TO THE
SOUTHERN AND CENTRAL MOUNTAINS OF EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN
COLORADO. THE BETTER SNOW ACCUMULATIONS LOOK TO FAVOR SOUTHWEST-
FACING SLOPES THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON AND TRANSITION TO FAVORING NORTHWEST-
FACING SLOPES LATER IN THE DAY AS THE WINDS SHIFT ON THE BACK SIDE
OF THE SYSTEM. SNOW WILL BEGIN TO DECREASE IN INTENSITY AND
COVERAGE THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS AS THE SYSTEM MOVES FARTHER
ONTO THE EASTERN PLAINS OF COLORADO.

* VISIBILITY...LOWERING TO ONE MILE OR LESS IN LOCALLY HEAVY
  SNOW.

* IMPACTS...SNOWFALL WILL BE HEAVIEST ON SOUTHWEST-FACING SLOPES
  THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON...WITH NORTHWEST-FACING SLOPES BEING
  FAVORED BY LATE IN DAY AND INTO THE EVENING. DRIVERS...HUNTERS
