You are subscribed to CDC's Vaccine Information Statements (VIS) email subscription service. The polio vaccine information statement has recently been updated and is now available.
This update is part of a move to update all VISs, and especially to get all "interim" VISs into final form. This edition does not differ significantly from the previous edition, particularly with regard to contraindications and adverse events. While we always encourage use of a new VIS upon publication, existing stocks of the previous edition may be used up.
